SUMMARY:Data Stewardship Conversations on Data Curation Guide
DESCRIPTION:We cordially invite you to join us at the Data Stewardship Conv
ersations to discuss your feedback on the Data Curation Guide and decide n
ext steps.\\r\\nThe Data Curation Guide was developed as part of our curre
nt thematic focus to serve as an interactive map for researchers at the Un
iversity of Basel to provide them with easy access to general and subject-
specific information on data curation throughout the research data lifecyc
le.\\r\\nAt the event\, we would like to discuss four questions in particu
lar:\\r\\nCoverage: does the guide address all critical areas of data cura
tion\, or is something missing?Audience fit: easy enough for beginners\, c
omprehensive enough for professionals??Disciplinary specialization: which
tools\, literature\, or links would you add? Would you prefer organization
by faculties?Interface: are you happy with the look and navigation? Would
you welcome a mascot?Anything else: do you have any other comments on the
guide?\\r\\nFinally\, we would like to discuss with you the best way to d
eploy the tool at the university.\\r\\nYour feedback is especially importa
nt to us so that we can benefit from your knowledge of the conditions and
needs in your field before the roll out of the tool.\\r\\nTo test the tool
and provide feedback\, please see the RDM Wiki for more information: http
 s://wiki.biozentrum.unibas.ch/x/XaboJw [https://wiki.biozentrum.unibas.ch/
x/XaboJw]\\r\\nWe look forward to hearing your insights and having a fruit
ful discussion. It is greatly appreciated.\\r\\nAs usual\, we will end the
event with an informal chat over drinks and snacks.\\r\\nData stewards an
d other members of the university's RDM Network will be invited to this ev
ent by email. Other people who are interested in attending the event are a
sked to contact the coordinators of the Data Stewardship Program (research
 data@unibas.ch [mailto:researchdata@unibas.ch]).
