Basics of Research Data Management
Research data management is increasingly becoming an important part of academic practice. Funding organisations such as the Swiss National Science Foundation (SNSF) already require a data management plan with the project submission as well as the publication of research data, provided there are no ethical or legal reasons against it.
The aim of this event is to give you an overview of the methods and tools of research data management in the context of Open Science and FAIR. We will introduce best practices on how to implement research data management in your everyday research to make your research more effcient and at the same time meet the requirements of research funders.
Trainers: Silke Bellanger & Iris Lindenmann (Open Science, University Library Basel)
