Data Stewardship Conversations

Peer-to-peer exchange: How can the role of data steward be well fulfilled and anchored in your organizational unit?

"Data Stewardship Conversations" are an informal event where the focus lies on the exchange among data stewards.

The aim is to share ideas and learn from each other on how best to anchor data stewardship in your own organizational unit. Topics include: What are good ways to fulfil the role of data steward? How can you reach the relevant stakeholders? How can researchers be supported? How can the exchange, knowledge building and development of best practices on RDM be encouraged?

Francesco Santini, who is a data steward at the Department of Biomedical Engineering, will give a short input presentation on how they have so far approached the establishment of data stewardship in the department. Afterwards, there will be time for discussion and we will end the event in the courtyard of the Kollegienhaus and continue chatting over drinks and snacks.

Data stewards and other members of the university's RDM network will be invited to this event by email. Other people who are interested in attending the event are asked to contact the coordinators of the Data Stewardship Program.
