Data Stewardship Program Event

Data Stewardship Conversations on RDM Use Cases Data and Information Classification

Presentation and discussion of the results for the 3 use cases on RDM with the new data and information classification

At the event, we will present the three use cases for RDM with the new data and information classification.

As part of our ongoing swissuniversities project, we have conducted workshops with research groups at the university to adapt their RDM workflows to the new data information classification. The workshops have resulted in RDM guidelines and workflows for various data types, which can be adapted by other researchers to suit their own needs. All in all we conducted three use cases:

  • At the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences on the data type “digital survey data” (in cooperation with Eliane Garo)
  • At the Institute for Biomedical Ethics on the data type “qualitative data from interviews and focus groups” (in cooperation with Tenzin Wangmo)
  • At the Institute of Nursing Science on the data type “routine data form healthcare providers” (in cooperation with Sarah Musy)

We would like to discuss the results of the three use cases with you and get your feedback.

As usual, we will end the event with an informal chat over drinks and snacks.

Please save the date for the event on Tuesday afternoon, April 28. We will announce the exact time and location at a later date.

Data stewards and other members of the university's RDM Network will be invited to this event by email. Other people who are interested in attending the event are asked to contact the coordinators of the Data Stewardship Program (researchdata@unibas.ch).
