Intellectual property rights
The workshop will provide a general introduction to intellectual property rights and other related legal issues relevant to research data management, such as copyright, archival law, patents and licences. Data protection law is not covered in this workshop, since we provide an extra workshop on this tropic (see Basics on Data Protection).
The course will mix theoretical inputs with discussions of concrete cases and questions.
Trainers are Suzanna Marazza and Anna Picco-Schwendener from the Competence Center in Digital Law.
Workshop language is English. The course will take place on site in the sciCORE lounge (4056 Basel, Klingelbergstrasse 61, 14th floor).
