PhD Toolbox Research Data Management
The PhD Toolbox course by the Digital Humanities Lab offers PhD students a comprehensive overview of the diverse resources and services offered by the University of Basel. During the lunchtime event, experts from various university areas provide practical input on topics that are relevant to the course of a dissertation. The aim of the course is to give participants a well-founded overview of useful tools and services for their academic work.
In the session on April 2, Markus Bossert of the Research Data Management Network will give you a comprehensive overview about infrastructure, tools and services for research data management (RDM) at the University of Basel. Additionally you will learn about the basics of RDM and have the opportunity to ask questions about RDM.
The course PhD Toolbox is aimed at persons at PhD candidate level and above. Exceptions are possible on request, for example for Master's students who are about to graduate and would then like to start a doctoral program. If you are interested in attending the individual session on RDM on April 2 without participating in the entire course, please contact Christian Weber (c.weber@clutterunibas.ch) until March 28.
