Research data management and artificial intelligence

World Café on RDM and AI at the University of Basel

Together we would like to discuss and explore the topic of research data management and artificial intelligence (AI). At the beginning of the course, CeDA will give a general introduction and contextualization to AI. Afterwards we will explore two specific AI topics that are relevant for data stewards and researchers at the University of Basel.

You will get an input on “FAIR use of GPT generated data” by RISE and “Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG)” by CeDA as well as the opportunity to discuss the two topics with your colleagues in a World Café format.

We will conclude the course with a plenary discussion about RDM, AI and possible next steps.
