Research Data Management in Health Sciences Day I
This two-day course will provide you with the essential knowledge and skills to enhance the management of the research data in your PhD project, with a specific focus on documenting data and annotating metadata
Day 1
On the first course day, you will have the opportunity to discuss your RDM challenges with RDM experts of the University of Basel and learn from them about the basic principles, methods, tools, and legal aspects of RDM. You will receive practical advice on data organization, data protection, storage solutions and useful RDM services.
Learning objectives
- You know and understand basic principles, methods and tools for RDM in the health sciences.
- You are able to apply the gained knowledge to store, organize and document your own research data and annotate relevant metadata.
- You are able to critically assess your own data management and you know the most important service providers for RDM at the University of Basel.
